Carbon Fiber is a resource that can be manufactured from a Carbon Fiber Factory.
It can also be rarely found by chopping down the plants with the large red orb with the yellow pulsing nodes. Plant maturity seems to be a factor in drop chance.

When found on the ground, it has the same icon as it's inventory icon.
